Dr. Dingyi Pei is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the RNL. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in medical electrical device design and biomedical signal processing. Her graduate research evolved into the realm of human-machine interfaces and received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. Her work aims to simplify upper limb movement to help individuals who have lost mobility in their hands to restore or rehabilitate hand functionality through prosthetics or robotics that can be directly controlled by the brain. In addition to exploring the mechanisms of the brain, her current research investigates technological detection methods and potential solutions for brain injury.
